Provincetown opens grant applications for CPA, tourism, business funds
Provincetown is accepting applications for Community Preservation Act, Tourism Fund, Economic Development Committee and Human Services grants, with Tourism Fund FY28 applications due Nov. 24, 2026.
The Town of Provincetown announced Oct. 1 that it is accepting applications for several town grant programs, including Community Preservation Act (CPA) grants, Tourism Fund grants, Economic Development Committee (EDC) grants and Human Services grants.
CPA grants fund eligible community housing, historic preservation, open space and recreation projects. Applications are reviewed by the Community Preservation Committee, and recommended awards go to Annual Town Meeting for approval.
Tourism Fund grants support marketing and public relations efforts meant to attract visitors, encourage repeat visits and overnight stays, and support year-round tourism. The Event Marketing and Matching Marketing grants give priority to shoulder-season activity, new programs, diversity and inclusion, and local partnerships. FY28 Tourism Fund applications are due Nov. 24, 2026.
EDC grants offer up to $10,000 per business to start, support or sustain year-round businesses and off-season economic activity. Provincetown businesses and entrepreneurs are eligible, with preference given to proposals that promote growth from October through May.
Human Services grants fund nonprofit 501(c)(3) agencies serving Provincetown residents, particularly those with low or moderate incomes or who are uninsured or underinsured. These grants support services addressing mental health, substance use, housing, hunger and other community needs.
The town said application information, eligibility requirements, deadlines and contacts are available on the town's Grant Programs page, and an interactive Grant Guide can help applicants identify programs that fit their needs.
